Vanessa Simmons
Director of Marketing
Vanessa is a seasoned marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in all aspects of the marketing discipline. She brings endless amounts of energy, drive and a results-oriented approach to creating and delivering Pythian’s strategic marketing initiatives. Vanessa also plays a business development role for the company and manages the relationship with Pythian’s largest partner, Oracle.

Vanessa holds a Business Marketing Diploma from Algonquin College. She has held numerous marketing management positions at Ottawa software companies including
N-able Technologies, Eftia OSS Solutions, Digital Fairway and FastLane Technologies (Quest Software).
Vanessa is an avid volunteer, lending both her time, and expertise to organizations such as the Ottawa Hospital Foundation, Operation Big Turkey, HOPE, the Ottawa Regional Cancer Center, The Mission, and the Ottawa Food Bank.
In her spare time Vanessa pursues her passion for great food, wine, and artisan cheeses as an accredited Cheese Sommelier and Cordon Bleu-trained chef. Her weekly Friday afternoon cheese tastings at Pythian’s Ottawa office aren’t to be missed!
