Marco Tusa

Team Lead

You could call Marco Tusa an “international man of mastery”—database mastery, that is. Bringing more than 23 years of experience to his role as Team Lead of Pythian’s MySQL practice, Marco recently migrated to the company’s head office in Ottawa, Canada from the regional office in Rome, Italy. His background in international projects includes having served as a former manager of UN Food and Agriculture Agency’s central European professional service practice.

Over the course of his career, Marco has developed an outstanding set of skills in database design, architecture, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server and large-scale systems administration. Clients know they can trust his expertise when it comes to meeting their project management, troubleshooting, performance optimization and application needs.

Marco holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and is a MySQL Certified DBA.
