Mark Brinsmead

Mark has more than 15 years of professional experience in systems and database engineering, guiding the IT strategies of enterprises ranging from Internet startups to Fortune 100 companies. He was responsible for developing and implementing an online, distributed prescriptions system for a major US pharmacy.
An expert in systems and storage architecture, and in Oracle management and tuning, Mark’s strong leadership and wide-ranging experience saw him advance to the position of Team Lead within months of his joining Pythian.
Mark graduated with a BSc. (Honours) in Computer Science and a MSc. in Computer Science from the University of Calgary.
