John Sing-Cheong Chen's extraordinary expertise in IT has taken him from his native Malaysia, to Los Angeles, and of course to The Pythian Group's central office in Ottawa, Canada — through very successful posts in such areas as telecom, computer telephony integration, CRM, enterprise storage planning, and business intelligence (BI).

John has more than a decade of Oracle experience, having worked with the full range of Oracle software products across multiple hardware and OS platforms since Oracle 7. In concert with his team of Pythian DBAs, John is capable of taking on any Oracle deployment. He is also a superb administrator of SAP's Web Application Server.

In addition to his varied technical accomplishments, John's analytical, innovative thinking makes him a leader in any milieu.

John is a Certified SAP Applications Server Technology Consultant, and a Certified Genesys Developer. He holds a B.Sc. from the University of Oklahoma.
