Roger Hatch
Chief Operating Officer

As The Pythian Group's COO, Roger Hatch manages Pythian's day-to-day operations and long-term strategies. Our teams report directly to him on transactions between Pythian and its clients.

Roger's mix of technical and management acumen makes him an ideal COO in Pythian's unique environment. He comes to The Pythian Group with more than twenty years of operations and business management experience in the fields of computer networking, telecommunications, and professional services, with specialties including software and systems development, fault tolerance and high availability solutions, and network architecture and security.

Roger also brings a similar level of expertise and experience in team leadership, strategic and tactical planning, project management, and decision analysis.

Before joining The Pythian Group, Roger held several management positions, such as Principal at AMS Management Systems Canada Inc., and Director of Infrastructure and Technology Services at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, which oversees Canadian financial institutions. Roger has also performed a variety of management consulting roles for both public sector and private industry organizations.

Roger holds a B.Sc. from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Project Management Professional (PMP), and holds formal certification in ITIL service management processes.
