As a leading company in a knowledge industry, we're always on the lookout for highly qualified database and systems administrators with the skills to join our team.

In the coming twelve months, we expect to add one or two dozen new employees, so you could correctly conclude that we are growing fast and we are more or less always hiring.

• Senior Oracle Applications DBA
• Senior MySQL DBA
• Senior SQL Server DBA
• Multi-platform oriented DBAs are of special interest to us; if you know more than one database platform very well, please apply.
• Senior UNIX systems administrators (Pythian supports all of the enterprise IT stack focusing on the database tier, we support ERP apps, app servers, and of course also the enterprise servers all the way down the stack to the systems tier.)

Our company is a "remote services" company in the sense that we concentrate our service delivery operations in our offices in Ottawa, Canada; Boston, USA; Sydney, Australia; and Hyderabad, India. If you are willing to relocate to one of those offices, great, send in your resume. If you are not, and you live in a location that you feel is strategic for Pythian, by all means we are willing to evaluate the business case of opening a new office where you are (we do expect to open 5-10 offices within the next 36 months.)

We will happily sponsor a work visa for any candidate that is willing to relocate to one of our offices. This is very easy to do for Canada, and quite easy for India. Australia is harder but if that's where you want to go let us know and we'll see what we can do.

In general, we at Pythian measure seniority by genius not years of experience, so please always feel comfortable applying even if you don't have years and years of experience.
