Pythian remained active in the core orbit of Oracle Open World 2012. Its presenters, bloggers, tweeters, managers, marketing, and rest of the people rocked the stage and backstage. This blog post shares some moments from this year’s Oracle’s mega blockbuster conference.
This Log Buffer Edition has covers everything that happening at Oracle Open World and more in Log Buffer #289.
If you are into the social media and a database professional, you are sure to know that Pythian is really passionate about the bloggers of database technology. Pythian has been carrying the torch of Bloggers Meetup tradition at the Oracle Open World, and has done it again this year in San Francisco’s Jillian opposite the Moscone West.
With mesmerizing Oracle Asia Pacific reception and ACE reception in bag from day one, day two not only brought knowledge-packed sessions but also unstoppable praises for the team Pythian from customers, bloggers, speakers, Oracle professionals and general audience.
Yesterday night, under the backdrop of the magnificent Golden Gate bridge of San Fransisco, Oracle lived up to its name and honored the Oracle ACEs and ACE Directors from all across the world. Lillian and her team did a wonderful job of bringing together almost all the great names in the Oracle World, and it was really nice for me to put so many names to the faces.
California’s jewel San Fransisco is sparkling with the colors of Oracle, as the world’s premier Oracle conference Oracle Open World draws very near. Database lovers from across the globe are gathering up in SFO to undergo a life-enchanting experience. This Log Buffer Edition covers that, and the posts related to MySQL and SQL Server in Log Buffer #288.
I know Oracle Open World from the blogs, twitter, and YoutTube clips of the sessions and all the fun going on. Now as I look forward to attend my first ever Open World, and present there, I cannot wait. I believe that its not only a great technical mela (i.e festival), but also a stellar opportunity for the networking.
I was thumbing through the photos in my iPhone from my Melbourne trip of August, where I went to present two sessions on Exadata in Insync12 from Pythian. I spent couple of hours on first and last day in sight-seeing or should I say my iPhone did the sight-seeing, and I nursed him. As I was going through the photos, I realized I was kind of watching those places first time. There were many things which were present in the photos, but I never saw them with my own eyes while walking or traveling in the trams or cabs.
With the summer approaching in Australia and Winter making inroads in Canada, the contrasts are also vivid in the blog posts of Oracle, SQL Server and MySQL. Relishing this distinguished medley, Log Buffer Edition is blossoming with new blog posts in Log Buffer #286.
