Pervasive Posts Rival to MySQL

The data infrastructure software company Pervasive Software Inc., is coming out with a customized version of the open-source PostgreSQL database. The database will be free of charge with service packages ranging from US$99 to $499 per year per server.
PostgreSQL has incorporated a few enterprise features MySQL currently lacks, including views, triggers, stored procedures, and grid security.
