Pythian Appoints Gregg Kitaeff as VP of Global Sales to Manage Expanding International Growth
Kitaeff will play a key role in helping Pythian fulfill the growing global need for data management services
OTTAWA, Ontario — May 27, 2014 — Pythian, the global leader in data management consulting and services, has named Gregg Kitaeff its new Vice President of Global Sales. As the global demand for data management services continues to rise, Kitaeff will lead the charge in delivering Pythian’s proven solutions to the global marketplace. In his new role, Kitaeff will oversee global sales, with a specific focus on services in the United States, as well as further adoption of Pythian services in Australia and the United Kingdom. Kitaeff will also work to grow Pythian’s footprint by adding to the sales team and expanding the sales management structure to support the rapid growth of Pythian’s major practice areas, including Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, big data, and system administration. Kitaeff previously served as Pythian’s Managing Director of U.S. Sales.
Kitaeff brings more than 16 years of experience in direct and business-to-business sales in the high-tech sector, with specialties in hosting, Software as a Service (SaaS), software, Internet applications, CRM, compliance, and recurring revenue models. He served as the Vice President of Sales for Logicworks for almost eight years, managing the company’s sales department and developing corporate strategies around services. In 2010, Kitaeff joined the Pythian team as Director of Sales and led direct sales efforts from Pythian’s New York office.
