Nice explanation. Thanks.
I have one question i have a Top 5 wait stats where in it says log file sync total waits 101k and wait event being commit. Does that mean that 101k log file sync event waits are caused by one and only commits.
On the contrary AWR also says 42 commits per minute.
You have queried differently to get user commits. How can i get the user calls, user commits exactly.

Hi,
I didnot get this.
On average, 27021/3600 = 7.5 processes

from where we are getting the value of 3600 ?
my awr snapshot time is for 1800seconds.
can u please let me know why we divided the value with 3600

thanks.
