Details:

When I posted my RAC Workload Management whitepaper, it was downloaded by many but it turned out that not everyone has half a day to go through such level of details and, frankly, not everyone is interested in how those features are implemented.

This prompted me to put together a webinar that does high level overview of available options to balance workload properly with Oracle Real Application Clusters. I think it would be especially useful for IT management and IT architects who do not necessary have full depth of Oracle knowledge but still need to know the general principles so that the optimal decision can be made and architectural solution chosen. It wouldn’t harm to be able to speak the same language with their more technical DBA’s. It should also be useful to the DBA’s having limited or no experience with RAC or who need a refresher on the features related to Oracle RAC connection management.

Having said that, this webinar does have good level of technical details so it’s not just fluffy marketing slides on how cool the technology is. The main purpose for the attendees is to learn about various features available, what are their limitations and whether these features work as advertised. Another perspective is to understand and be able to classify various requirements for workload balancing with Oracle RAC and which options work best.

Sorry, it’s a short notice — the webinar is literally tomorrow as I write this — don’t wait and register now. I hope it will fit your schedules so see your there!
