Learn about Pythian: Tuesday 4/24 @ 4:40pm in Ballroom G

By: Paul Vallee

A quick note for those of you enjoying the MySQL Conference & Expo 2007 in Santa Clara this week.

As part of Pythian’s Gold sponsorship of the conference, we’re trying something new. We understand that the tradeshow floor for booth sponsors is a bit out of the way, and in any case, there were no very good booth locations left after the diamond sponsors had had their pick of the litter.

So I was brainstorming with Jay Pipes and even though Gold Sponsor don’t normally rate a keynote at these types of presentations, Jay managed to swing us something similar, a main-stream session where we can unapologetically discuss how Pythian is helping to solve our MySQL customers’ problems with our database engineering services. This is like Red Hat’s Keynote, in that they’re presenting RHEL with MySQL as a great solution, but we’ll be talking about how Pythian with MySQL technology can be put to work.

So on that note, please join Pythian VP Martin Wisniewski at 4:40pm on Tuesday, in Ballroom G for this session on Augmenting Your In-House MySQL Resources. That’s right after Raj Thukral’s Real World MySQL Tuning session, for those of you who hope to attend both.
