Hi Stefan. You're right, that has happened more recently, but not for either of the reasons you suggest.

It has mostly to do with volume, I'm afraid. I find it harder to cover everything adequately, particularly as the number of Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server blogs has ballooned in the last couple of years. The number of Postgres blogs has not risen dramatically, and by dint of that, the others are wheels that squeak more. Sometimes getting through all of the former three leaves me with too little time, space, or attention to take proper care of Postgres (not to mention others such as Firebird, DB2, and IDS).

I'll try to be fairer, particularly as I really enjoy PG blogs such as yours, Hubert Lubaciewski's, and Selena Deckelmann's, to name only three.

Please also remember---Log Buffer isn't my thing or Pythian's thing alone, so comments of any kind are most welcome, and I'd love to see more of them with blog recommendations. Add away, everyone--your links have value.

More editors would be nice too, but I recognize that this is now quite a big task, and so it's a rare blogger who has the inclination.

Thanks for the comment, Stefan.

hmm in recent times Log buffer seems to avoid talking or referring to PostgreSQL related blog posts. I'm starting to wonder if that is done on purpose or just due to a "don't care" mentality...
