Improve the Performance of Your Databases and Applications
Pythian’s performance review is a two- to three-day program that helps you enhance the performance of your Oracle, SQL Server and/or MySQL database environments. The result is an improvement in not only the databases, but also in the applications that the databases support.
How does a Pythian Performance Assessment Work?
Pythian will establish connectivity to your database environment and access specified production servers. We will then work with you to review database servers, roles, dependencies, replicated slaves, etc. along with the application and related database project roadmap.
The service is delivered in three phases:
- Basic Information Gathering (OS and database)
- SQL Informaton Gathering (Top SQL and SQL requiring further investigation)
- SQL Tuning (additional turning could require a follow-up engagement)
