Aaron Lazenby, Editor at Oracle’s Profit Magazine interviewed Pythian Founder, Paul Vallée this week to discuss the growing risk of internal threats to IT.
“What we need to create is complete accountability for everything that happens around a data center, and that’s where our industry is not up to snuff right now. We tend to think that if you secure access to the perimeter of the data center, then what happens in the meeting inside can be unsupervised. But that’s not good enough.” says Paul.
The interview, Inside Job, is a preview to Paul’s Collaborate ’14 session taking place in later today in Las Vegas. If you’re at Collaborate, make sure you don’t miss Paul’s presentation Thou Shalt Not Steal: Securing Your Infrastructure in the Age of Snowden. The presentation begins at 4:15 PM Pacific at the Venetian, Level 3 – Murano 3306.
