Striking the right balance

Keith Millar leads Pythian with a balance of technology and business expertise. He’s experienced nearly every aspect of managing Pythian since joining in 2009 as Vice President of Sales. He was promoted to Chief Revenue Officer in 2014 and Senior Vice President in 2016, leading Pythian’s services business, including sales, marketing, business development, service delivery, and customer success. Keith became Pythian’s President in 2019.

Prior to Pythian, Keith held a number of management and leadership positions with technology software and services firms. Keith was previously VP of Business Development at Liquid Computing, VP of Product Management at Opalis Software, and Director of Product Management at Quest Software. He started his career as a systems engineer in aerospace.

Keith holds an MBA from the University of British Columbia, with an engineering degree from Queen’s University.  He is excited by what’s new in technology, and calls the cloud revolution the most interesting in “our industry in our lifetime.”  Establishing Pythian as a true cloud player is a major point-of-pride.
