What we did

The tech company sought answers from Google, who knew about Pythian’s extensive expertise with a wide range of technologies and platforms. Pythian was able to help set up the firm for their migration with:

  • On-demand consultation and technical support. When the company needed help, Pythian provisioned virtual machines (VMs) into GCVE and Ansible to install Oracle software on the VMs, allowing the company to quickly resume their migration.
  • Automated tooling. Pythian provided the necessary tools to equip the tech company to continue the migration process and deploy VMware virtual machines and Oracle RAC Databases efficiently at-scale.
  • Responsive action. Despite tight time constraints, Pythian leveraged their Terraform and Ansible scripting automation experience for task automation to help the company deploy over 300 databases.
