The big announcement: Pythian wins 2025 Databases Partner of the Year Award
This year, Pythian was acknowledged by Google as one of their very best partners by winning the 2025 Databases Partner of the Year Award for North America. This announcement is a tremendous recognition for all the effort that’s been put into the partnership by both Google and Pythian over the years and the valuable services we’ve been able to deliver, across the data estate, for our shared customers.

Hey, it’s not everyday you get to be the source for a cover story on Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud
Did you get a chance to see this article? Pythian had the opportunity to contribute to a cover story by CRN, “Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian On Agentic AI’s Starring Role.” It starts out with a great summary of the Gemini AI service Pythian delivered for our logistics customer Day & Ross and the incredible ROI delivered the first day of the deployment. CRN also released a follow-up article titled, “Google Cloud Star Pythian Sees Gemini ‘Acceleration’ Via Workspace And Agentspace” that expands on our Workspace AI services and our new Agentspace QuickStart offering.

This is a really interesting time for Pythian to be partnered with Google—as we see the very rapid adoption of AI-related services and solutions by our customers. This year, more than any, Google has brought to market a mind-blowing suite of new, innovative, market-leading AI services that Pythian, as a premier partner, is able to deliver to our customers to stimulate business value on their behalf. Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Google at launch
As a Premier Google Cloud Partner, Pythian feels fortunate to work hand-in-glove with Google on some of the most exciting and innovative releases they bring to market.
Last year, we served as launch partner for Google during their announcement of Oracle Database @ Google Cloud support services. Both during that announcement and now, we see this as a meaningful opportunity for our joint customers to explore the power of Google Cloud and overcome challenges they’ve encountered over the years with getting Oracle estates into the cloud.
Similarly, during the Google Cloud Next show this year, Google officially announced its Agentspace solution; an intelligent AI-enabled Enterprise Search platform offering customers a next-generation Gemini-powered solution to drive dramatically enhanced productivity across their enterprise. Pythian didn’t miss the opportunity to support this announcement by introducing our Agentspace QuickStart service, offering companies the ability to stand-up Agentspace in just four weeks including 4 connectors to their most important data sources. Our customers are making it clear they want to leverage Google’s AI solutions to secure a competitive advantage in their market—we’re making sure they have the expert guidance to do just that.
Wrapping up the excitement of Google Cloud Next 25
Google Cloud Next 25 was one for the books, and an event we won’t soon forget at Pythian. Aside from the incredible announcements, what stays with me most is how appreciative I am to have had quality time to spend with some of our customers, and how proud I am of our team. To say it’s going to be difficult for me to wait until next year’s Google Cloud Next is a major understatement.
