To prevent any service interruptions during the move, Pythian used a data-syncing tool called Striim to securely copy files in real time without shutting down the platform. Pythian also used an automation tool named Terraform to set up hands-free daily backups and continuous health monitoring. This modern cloud setup gave the company unlimited room to grow, letting their internal teams focus on improving vehicle safety and customer experience instead of managing databases.
